She has recently recorded with the Sean Jones Quintet (Mack Avenue Records) and will be touring and recording with the Ralph Peterson Sextet this up coming year. Tia has received her Masters degree (M.M.) in Jazz Pedagogy and Performance that has led her to teach at the Stanford Jazz Workshop, "Jazz in July" at University of Massachusetts at Amherst and serve as a clinician at Ohio State Universiy's "Women in Jazz" program. Currently she is teaching at the Jazz Institute of New Jersey where she was selected as the keynote speaker for the class of 2003 and plans to began her DMA in the fall of 2004.
